Lynda Carter, aka Wonder Woman, is joining Supergirl in it’s sophomore season on The CW. The actress will be portraying the President of the United States for an undisclosed number of episodes.
Her first appearance will be in the season’s third episode.
Lynda Carter is most well known for her stint as Wonder Woman in the 1970’s television series. It’s also not her first time on a more recent DC Comics TV show, she also guest-starred on an episode of Smallville in 2007 as the estranged mother to Chloe Sullivan.
Carter joins several other former DC alumni on Supergirl. Dean Cain, who played Superman on The Adventures of Lois and Clark, Helen Slater who played Supergirl in the 1980’s film and Laura Vandervoort who played Supergirl on Smallville have all appeared on Supergirl as well.
Supergirl returns on October 10th on The CW.
